The Little Old Lady Who Broke all the Rules by Catharina Ingelman-Sundberg

So maybe if I had read this before the 100 year old man who jumps out of a window, the pilgrimage of Harold Fry or a man named Ove, I would have been more impressed. It was fun but not original. I'm looking forward to the movie coming soon and I will definitely be watching it.
The premise is that due to cuts under new management at the old people's home, the 'oldies' decide that life in prison would be more pleasant. They set out on a crime spree across Sweden. It was fairly funny in places but honestly not as good as the premise might make you think.
I could have picked a better book in translation book. Sweden is pretty similarly culturally to the UK so next time I will find a translated book from a different culture.
