Additional Review G - Why does the alphabet now end at Y?
C is for Corpse by Sue Grafton

I have read a few of Sue Grafton's alphabet novels over the years and when this popped up in the bookbox I couldn't resist.
This is an early one (letter C = book 3 fairly obviously) and the 80's setting was actually rather charming. It helped that the copy I found was an original hardback from the 80's, so the typeface and cover were just right.
Letter C is one of the best Sue Grafton's I have read. Nice and short, the crime story is tight and interesting and our protagonist Kinsey Millhone isn't too annoying as she can be in later books. If you are going to read any letter of this series, try this one.
And to answer the question above... I found out while reading this one that Sue Grafton died in 2017 without finishing letter Z. Her family have stated that the alphabet now finishes at Y as far as they are concerned.
