Ahhhhhhhh! This is so exciting, Ella is ready to listen to me read real chapter books!
This was written in the 1960's but I had never heard of it before. The littles are tiny miniature borrower like people with tails. They live in harmony with the bigs who own the house they live in. All goes wrong when the bigs leave on holiday and a new family come to stay. Then the mice arrive and then..... the CAT!
Ella enjoyed this one but found the pacing a little slow. She is however only 4.
