Magic Treehouse (#31) - Summer of the Sea Serpent by Mary Pope Osborne
This Magic Treehouse was the best yet. Ella absolutely loved it. She made me read it through 2 times in a row. The selkies were amazing. Sometimes we can get a little bored of unicorns and magical kittens, but selkies, spider queens and sea snakes were quite novel for us. It was also paced perfectly with a minimum of set up and ending part, it's almost all action!
Ella wants to say - this is the best Jack and Annie book ever.
A bit longer than the original low numbered magic tree house books, but much better. I'll be concentrating my efforts on high numbered Jack and Annie's from now on.
