Audiobook - Grown Ups - Marian Keyes

Marian Keyes, you've done it again. I've been reading Marian Keyes books since adolescence when I picked up Rachel's holiday on a whim. Since then I have slowly worked my way through most of her back catalogue. All Marian's books are good but some are better than others and I am happy to say this is one of the really good ones.

The three Casey brothers and their extended family share holidays and special occasions together and, starting at their Easter trip to a posh hotel, we follow the lives of all the 'grown-ups' and their fractious, somewhat chaotic lives. Each character is beautifully written and rounded. Each brother and each wife easily distinguishable and most are even likable despite their flaws and often even tantrums.

The kids in the story behave impeccably the entire time.

A really good read. 8/10
